Ead's letter home

Dear Mother and Daddy,
Sorry I haven’t returned yet, but it seems Malek has been able to keep his promise of showing me an exciting time. I actually had to work there for a bit, but I think that part is past considering we killed the traitorous bastard we had for a boss. Speaking of Malek, he’s really been stepping up lately. Get him away from the gambling halls and he can actually be intimidating. He still needs some work though. We’ve met a few others here too. There’s a man named Artan that plays with chemicals or something like that. Basically he throws vials of acid or fire at people. It’s pretty cool. He’s alright, at least he doesn’t interfere or freak out and go all “oh you shouldn’t behead people” or anything. In fact he’s helping preserve the head of this real a-hole we dispatched the other day. Cut it clean off so it’s in good condition. You should have seen the guy’s lackey’s after that. I think they pissed themselves. It was funny.
Speaking of which, I’ve picked up a big axe at a shop in town. I wanted to try my hand at something else. It’s been useful. Don’t worry. I’m still working with the bow plenty and I’m improving day by day.
We also have a lady traveling with us or at least in our ragtag group she’s a lady. I don’t understand some of her talents, but she is great at healing us. Apparently she had never seen catfolk before and has been sticking close to Malek and I. Not that I would take advantage of that, especially if the lights should happen to dim as they did recently. I will say thought that she does have really nice boobs and I’m just the right height, hehe.
Then there’s Ferren another catfolk. Uhgg. He’s more recent to the group and only seems to care about money. So boring. I guess in the end he’s okay, just as long as he stays away from Malek and Kage.(They’re so soft, but firm at the same time).
Anyway, I’m going to hang out with Malek for a while longer yet. When I get a chance to mail this we will have returned from the island where that big meteor crashed. We are running into some interesting things there. I also haven’t figured out if I want to take advantage of dispatching one of the biggest Crime Lord’s in Riddleport. Hmm, Crime Lord Eadaoin. Has a nice ring to it and wouldn’t all the bandits in our camp be jealous. It does seem like it would be a lot more work then I care for though. Oh well, we’ll see. Bye for now.
Love,
Your daughter,
Ead
